They asked me what motivated me to write this novel. We have been hearing about the migrant crisis in the Mediterranean for over 10 years. The issues faced by the host countries are often highlighted, but rarely do we hear about the experiences of these people, their distress, and the dangers they face crossing the Sahara. Based on testimonies and stories, with GOD' FORGOTTEN ONES, I have reconstructed the odyssey of three individuals caught in the grip of slavers. And you, would you dare to undertake this journey?
